Society of the Lotus Rules1. Be respectful of your peers.
- No hate speech, discrimination, sexual harassment. Lotus is a safe-space for all members.2. No Drama.
- Keep your shenanigans out of out of general chat and in other channels that pertain to the FC. On the grounds that there is an issue you need to speak to leadership about, please do the following.A) CONTACT AN OFFICER OR LEAD— We will keep you anonymous of your claim from the FC, but you must provide concrete evidence of the transgression, or present a witness, to back up your claim. Defamation of a person’s character will not be taken lightly within the FC.B) DO NOT take the matter to other FC members. All matters are a PRIVATE/PERSONAL basis. You don’t go dragging someone down because they’ve done you wrong no matter how unfair the offense or how mean/upset they’ve been. Rise above. This will NOT be tolerated.C) THE LEADS AND OFFICERS WILL TAKE CARE OF THE REST. Will conversations be had? Yes. Will it be stressful? Yes, for everyone involved— but we will be vigilant and just and we’ll take care of the matter in an organized, professional, yet friendly fashion so that peace can remain preserved in the FC as we’d like it the same for all of Hydaelyn.3. You are a representative of Lotus no matter where you go.
- Things have a way of getting back to myself and the other officers, if I catch wind of you being a dick, you get to deal with the self-proclaimed Iofast-Dragon.4. YOU MUST BE 18+ TO BE IN THIS FC.
- Lotus is an 18+ FC. If you are younger than 18, you will be removed no questions asked. You will be removed and banned if you are found to be lying to us about your age.5. If you are taking a break please let leadership know!
- We do regular purges of the FC, and we don't want to accidentally kick you.DISCORD RULES
1. Be respectful-- don't talk over others.
2. Don't be abusive with the bots.
3. Please let the FC leads know if you're inviting someone to the discord, it must be cleared with one of the leadership, as this Discord is only for FC members
4. Please keep your names to your in-game names. You're allowed to have fun names but your in-game name must be within it.
I.E - Keshi the Walrus (Nonoyo) To help us keep people straight.
5. Post content in the appropriate channels. It keeps the discord looking lovely! If something isn’t there or you’d like to know where to post it, just ask!
6. If you're going to react to something saying you'll be in attendance, remove your reaction/mention any lateness/tardiness prior to the event so the person leading it knows. It's only polite.
What is the Society?
The Society of the Lotus is a guild made up of artisans and masters of trade who work together to provide commissioned goods and services. The Society focuses on custom work rather than mass production, taking on requests from individual patrons who require skilled craftsmanship, repair, or specialty trade services.Members of the Society include crafters, specialists, and support roles who collaborate to fulfill commissions and maintain the guild’s operations. Each member contributes their expertise to ensure that contracts are completed with care, professionalism, and attention to detail.

About the Artisan Society!
The Society of the Lotus initially began as a shipping enterprise established to serve as the central headquarters for Lady Izanami Oshiga’s fleet of merchant vessels. Designed to manage trade routes, logistics, and overseas commerce, the company quickly became a pillar of reliable maritime trade under her leadership. When Izanami’s closest friend and trusted business partner, A’keshi, joined her, the venture evolved beyond simple transport of goods, expanding into more ambitious and far-reaching endeavors across the realms.Today, the Lotus holds a prestigious reputation for delivering exceptional craftsmanship and rare, high-quality items. Lady Oshiga demands nothing less than excellence from the artisans and specialists employed by the Society, and this uncompromising standard has earned the Lotus both respect and renown among nobles, merchants, and discerning patrons alike.
What Roles is the Society Looking For?
The Society of the Lotus is currently seeking individuals across a wide range of roles to join our ranks.Artisans — We are recruiting craftsmen and masters of trade of all disciplines to strengthen our numbers and ensure we continue delivering exceptional, high-quality goods to our clientele.Sellswords / Combat-Oriented Members — The acquisition of rare and valuable materials is often perilous. We employ capable combatants to safeguard our artisans during expeditions and secure dangerous procurement efforts.Society Staff (Healers, Shopkeepers, Bookkeepers) — Skilled healers are always welcome within the Society. Additionally, our headquarters houses an active storefront, and we are consistently seeking reliable staff to manage daily operations, inventory, and records.
RP Events
As we reach more members and begin to grow, that is when we will start holding bigger RP events. Until we reach that event, we will be hosting weekly/bi-weekly FC RP events! These could just be character growth RP's or Izanami may come to the Artisans with a commission request from a client! The house will always be open for RP so don't hesitate to jump in/request!
